Haven’t frequently writing stuff here and i kinda miss it so here i am. Lots of things happened in between the time i stopped blogging and until now, wow i’m surprise how much my thoughts has slowed down after not penning down my thoughts for so long, i didn’t think so much anymore, i didn’t mope around anymore and i didn’t linger on bad memories anymore. 2009 has been a very rough here, funny i’m only writing this now almost nearing to the end of January, but well 2009 is just …
And that’s my 2009, pretty good, and this year 2010 is great too, if there is a God out there he must be darn good to me. Exempted modules, great group members and a whole lot of time for me to concentrate on my own personal quest to a better physique and health.
Bodybuilding is something that i always want to do, seeing professional bodybuilders in the states, seeing them train, always gave me motivation to go further. But of course i’m never gonna make it into bodybuilding, its not something easy as everyone thinks, and its a sport which you need to dedicate 24hours of your life into it in order to be good at it. Calling myself a bodybuilder at my current physique would be a great joke. Even though i know i can’t be a bodybuilder, i still aim to achieve a great physique which i can be proud of, this takes a bit of dedication as well.
People always misunderstand that those awesome looking bodies like jacob black or some hollywood people, they got their physique by just going to the gym and train, that is not the case. Nutrition plays a big part as well, they don’t go around eating junk food, eating fried food, eating refined stuff. I will not go about explaining the effects of these foods on the body as i know most people will not care, they aren’t into this sort of stuff like i am. Nutrition transforms the body.
Western diets and Asian diet are like from 2 different planets. Our staples are rice, and theirs are meat. What might be perfectly normal to them their diet, might be totally strange and bewildering to us Asians. But in order to have a good nutrition which will ultimately lead to a great physique, sometimes we just have to do the ‘strange’ stuff the norm considered crazy.
Eating only chicken breasts, 10 eggs per day, not eating rice, drinking only pure water, eating every 3 hours, protein supplement, completely not eating sugary stuff, fried stuff, and basically any food the food courts in Singapore are simply just the very normal stuff when it comes to dieting down to a great body. You can’t expect to grow big, build muscle and cut down the fats at the same time and eating food from Singapore food courts. I’m not saying that we can’t eat the normal delicacies, in order to lose weight, build muscle, improve performance, a clean diet is all it takes, and the food we usually eat from way back when we were young ain’t gonna do that.
Well that’s just my thoughts on fitness for myself and how i’m gonna achieve them. People always don’t get why i’m doing the things i am doing, like why do i go to the gym so many times, why do i eat so much, why so much eggs. I’m not crazy or anything, i just want to look better and which guy doesn’t? Only myself, i’m putting in a little more effort on the diet part. So please don’t call me crazy, or misunderstand me.
And that’s for today post, hopefully i can write stuff like this more frequent :D
